Our school’s identity

We are an “Open School” with basic axes:

1. The natural sciences and the subjects of STEM, something that is proven by our participation in innovative programs (JEA) but also in competitions of Informatics, Physics and Mathematics and even with distinctions. Also, our school participates every year in the Panhellenic Student Conference on Informatics with robotics projects and constructions.

2.Culture linked to local social events (Implementation of musical and theatrical performances.

3. Raising awareness of volunteering and the participation of our school’s community in actions that support individuals or groups in need (Actionaid, The home of “ARSIS”, “ELPIDA” Autistic Person Unit).

We believe that the “Open School” is the school that is connected with the labor market and the needs of society.

Secondary education should be the anteroom in research, support innovation and be a breeding grounds for the development of future scientists in various fields of knowledge. Natural sciences, in combination with Informatics, Technology and Mathematics, are a modern way of approaching knowledge, promote collaboration, exchange of ideas and finally the production of good understanding practices.

Students participating in such activities can be helped to develop a complete personality and enhance self-awareness, empathy, acceptance, understanding and cooperation with other people.

In conclusion, the aim for us is to help develop a school that will help create integrated personalities, will be an active member of society and will provide essential knowledge.
